Volleyball Semifinals San Antonio Sports Photography

Pho­tographed NCAA Divi­sion 1 women’s vol­ley­ball semi­fi­nals at the Alam­od­ome in San Anto­nio.  Spent pretty much whole evening pho­tograph­ing women’s vol­ley but it was excit­ing match!

Touring choir | San Antonio Photographer

I was hired to pho­to­graph Trin­ity Uni­ver­sity tour­ing choir.  Pho­tograph­ing large group shot is always dif­fi­cult and requires a lot of equip­ment to bring.  I bought three Elinchrom Ranger stu­dio gear to light them prop­erly both indoor and out.  Group pho­tog­ra­phy tip: high angle shot to see all the mem­bers clearly!  Image by san anto­nio pho­tog­ra­pher Soobum Im.

Engagement session @ landa library

Pho­tographed beau­ti­ful cou­ple Matt and Lisa at the landa library. This is one of my favorite loca­tion in San Anto­nio metro area - I shoot a lot of engage­ment ses­sion, fam­ily por­trait and bridal ses­sion.  I brought vari­ety of lenses today; from fish eye to 200 mm lens.  I wanted to cap­ture unique pho­tos for them.  Here’s some of my favorite images.  Image by san anto­nio engage­ment pho­tog­ra­pher soobum Im.

Dallas Cowboys Training Camp | San Antonio Photographer

Back from vaca­tion, I had very vey busy week pho­tograph­ing WNBA all star games as well as  Dal­las Cow­boys train­ing camp here in San Anto­nio.  I also shot engage­ment ses­sion,  fam­ily por­traits,  and a wed­ding in 10 days.  I haven’t updated my blog almost a month now.  I am try­ing to update pho­tos more often.  Cowboys Training 015 Edit

I am back!

MG 2051 Back in my office after unfor­get­table fam­ily vaca­tion in Can­cun Mex­ico.  Quickly  head over to Valen­cia Hotel to pho­to­graph WNBA all star play­ers as soon as I landed in San Anto­nio.   Tired but it’s time to go back to work.

Dr. Z | Headshot Photography San Antonio

Pho­tographed envi­ron­men­tal por­trait type head­shot pho­to­graph for the mag­a­zine.  Dr. Z was very com­fort­able in front of the cam­era.  I used a sim­ple light on this.  Just one speedlite on cam­era left with a soft­box.  It was feath­ered quite a bit to avoid any reflec­tion from the window.
