Touring choir | San Antonio Photographer

I was hired to pho­to­graph Trin­ity Uni­ver­sity tour­ing choir.  Pho­tograph­ing large group shot is always dif­fi­cult and requires a lot of equip­ment to bring.  I bought three Elinchrom Ranger stu­dio gear to light them prop­erly both indoor and out.  Group pho­tog­ra­phy tip: high angle shot to see all the mem­bers clearly!  Image by san anto­nio pho­tog­ra­pher Soobum Im.

I was assigned to pho­to­graph sev­eral restau­rants, bars, and spe­cialty shops from travel mag­a­zine in San Anto­nio.  I am avail­able for assign­ment, able to travel.  I can pro­vide food pho­tog­ra­phy as well as inte­rior and exte­rior pho­tos of the restau­rant in greater Texas area.

Had a chance to pho­to­graph Saint Vin­cent and the Grenadines at Sam’s Burger Mon­day night.  Check out South Texas Jazz band.  They are amaz­ing.  The stage was quite dark.  Shot with 5D Mark II at ISO 4000 at f 2.8 most of the time.  Quite amaz­ing what this cam­era can do in low light sit­u­a­tions.  I knew that I had to deal with white bal­ance later.  Thank­fully, the singer dressed in grey / dark suit so only thing I dad to to do was to click white bal­ance picker.  Not per­fect but it’s pretty close.
