Off to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in downtown San Antonio to photograph Brennan’s baptism. Used two fast prime lenses (canon 35 1.4 and 85 1.2) to cover the whole ceremony.

I could have used a flash but I didn’t want any distraction during the the ceremony.

Portland Ski Fever

I’ve been shooting Portland Ski Fever event for 2 years and I have to say this is one of my favorite events. Great show. Some of these guys are fearless — nice railslide. I used two Nikon SB 26s on both side and shot with 1D Mark III at 1/400 at F4.5. With pocket wizard Flex TT5, I could free the action.

Portland Ski Fever

This year Portland Ski Fever invited pro skateboarders and showed some air! There was a very small space on top of the half pipe. I had to use f15 mm 2.8 fisheye. I hand held my strobe (Canon 580 EXII) on camera left and triggered with Pocket wizard Flex TT5. Shot with 1D Mark III at 1/400, F6.3. Harsh light but stopping action was more important.
