I had a chance to shoot Texas Stars vs San Anto­nio Ram­page game tonight at AT&T cen­ter.  I’ve been a team pho­tog­ra­pher for Port­land Win­ter­hawks and shoot­ing hockey was very com­fort­able.  At the AT&T cen­ter, only two shoot­ing posi­tions were avail­able and those two spots were already taken.Photog Dar­ren let me use one of the shoot­ing posi­tion dur­ing 2nd period.  Took this shoot at the 2nd level where most of the crowds watch.

After sec­ond period, I was able to shoot in ice level.  Shoot­ing through glass is always nice and AF works a lot faster.

Tomor­row, I am dri­ving up to Austin to meet up with some of the best Sports pho­tog­ra­pher and attend sem­i­nar.  Should be fun.
