Med­ical pho­tog­ra­phy is chal­leng­ing because I have no idea of know­ing how the (surgery) rooms gonna be like: it’s usu­ally small and lit with green flu­o­res­cent light.  Also, I have to work fast.  When I pho­to­graph doc­tors, ath­letes, etc, I only have 10~15 min to fin­ish.  My setup is pretty sim­ple: one 28″ West­cott Apollo soft­box on cam­era left and a grid behind to the right to sim­u­late sun light com­ing off the win­dows.   Soft­box takes more time to setup but I like to con­trol the light in fairly tight space.
