Portland Ski Fever

I’ve been shoot­ing Port­land Ski Fever event for 2 years and I have to say this is one of my favorite events.  Great show.   Some of these guys are fear­less — nice rail­slide. I used two Nikon SB 26s on both side and shot with 1D Mark III at 1/400 at F4.5.  With pocket wiz­ard Flex TT5, I could free the action.

Port­land Ski Fever

This year Port­land Ski Fever invited pro skate­board­ers and showed some air!   There was a very small space on top of the half pipe.  I had to use f15 mm 2.8 fish­eye.  I hand held my strobe (Canon 580 EXII) on cam­era left and trig­gered with Pocket wiz­ard Flex TT5.  Shot with 1D Mark III at  1/400, F6.3.  Harsh light but stop­ping action was more important.
