Lot of things going on at the waterfront this summer. Jazz festival, good food etc. We found the place where not many people passing by. Can’t move the boat behind Colleen. Instead I decide to include the boat — looks like a vacation photo. The sun is on my right and I had to balance the sun light. Again, I am dealing with harsh shadow. Umbrella was not an option since the wind was blowing like 15 MPH and don’t want my $400 Canon 580 EXII to drop on the sand or water. It was on full power, no gel, strait to Colleen from camera left (I needed use all the power I’ve got). I shot Raw so that I can brighten up her left face a little.
