Volleyball Semifinals San Antonio Sports Photography

Photographed NCAA Division 1 women’s volleyball semifinals at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Spent pretty much whole evening photographing women’s volley but it was exciting match!

First match was between UCLA vs FSU. The Bruins defeated Seminoles 25–16, 25–17, 25–21. Photos by San Antonio Sports Photographer Soobum Im.

Second match was USC vs Illinois. It was close game. After the fist game, I thought Trojans gonna win this match. Illinois defeated USC 3 set to 2.

Saturday’s match should be exciting. It’s going to be Illinois vs UCLA here at the Alamodome.

Back from vacation, I had very vey busy week photographing WNBA all star games as well as Dallas Cowboys training camp here in San Antonio. I also shot engagement session, family portraits, and a wedding in 10 days. I haven’t updated my blog almost a month now. I am trying to update photos more often.

A lot of Tony Romo fans here in San Antonio. Good to see him back again.

Photographed playoff basketball game between San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies. Spurs made incredible shot forcing game 6 but that was the last game of the season for the Spurs.

To be Spurs players looked really really tired. Great work to be top seed in western conference. Hope to an even better next season.

Manu's back on the court tonight. Fans were yelling Manu Manu!. Next time, I am bring some earplugs.

I was assigned one of my favorite place to shoot but was too crowded with photographers, TV guys and fans. I wasn't very comfortable shooting that position (especially fans with beer on their hands) so I decide to go upper level to shoot down. I got some good separation shot of Tim and Marc.

Like DeJuan Blair (left, right) shots. He's full of energy. I didn't get much out of remote camera. Here's just one

Manu Ginobil was the key player. The Spurs won 93-87.
