Nuggets at Spurs

Denver nuggets vs San Antonio Spurs was the only NBA game playing tonight. I knew that there’s gonna be a lot of action around the basket so head over to AT&T center crazy early to setup remotes. SI, Reuter, AP guys were all busy setting up their remotes by the time I got there — hard working photographers ! All the media attention was to Carmelo Anthony tonight.

Don’t usually shoot from the upper level but decide to add some using canon 300 2.8 lens. I could have setup remotes there but didn’t want to go up to get the memory card in deadline situation.

Manu played solid game both defense and offense. Shot with remote camera: canon 5d mark ii + 17–40. I like mount a remote camera on the support of the basketball hoop since I can get the memory card during the halftime (if I got something interesting) or right after the game really fast.

J.R. Smith I think is one of the most talented player in the NBA. The Spurs won 110–97.

An Incredible Rainbow

I was driving by today near red tail golf course and saw an Incredible Rainbow. I’ve been complaining about the Portland weather these days but man I love rainbows. It makes me humble & smile. Shot with 85 1.2 L. Unfortunately, it was the only lens I had today.
